Kaviyoor Balan's poem portrays the tension between modern busyness and the quiet yearning for peace. Through sleepless nights, exams, and endless duties, the poet reveals a mind caught between responsibility and lost creativity. Images of LED lights, burning moths, and rushing schedules symbolize the exhaustion of modern life. Yet amid the noise and abundance, a faint hope persists — the urge to create, to live meaningfully. In the end, the poem assures that no matter the darkness, the dawn is certain.
