അടുക്കളജാലകങ്ങൾ
അശ്ലീലമാകുന്നതെങ്ങനെ?
പൂർണ്ണചന്ദ്രനും
യൗവനസൂര്യനും
ശ്ലീലമല്ലയോ!

ഒരു പകുതിപ്രാണി
അടുക്കളജാലകത്തിലൂടെയവ
കാണുന്നുണ്ട്
പൊൻനിറമാർന്ന
പൗർണ്ണമി,
രജതവസ്ത്രമൂർന്ന
തീക്ഷ്ണസൂര്യൻ!

അതുംകൂടി കാണാനാകില്ലെങ്കിൽ
ഈ അർദ്ധപ്രാണൻ
അതെന്തിനാണ്?

ഇറ്റ് വീഴാൻ ഭയക്കുന്ന
കണ്ണീര്
ചില്ലുപോലെ
കരളിൽ തറയ്ക്കുന്നു

കൊച്ചുമകൻ
റെഡ്ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫ്ലൂട്ടിൽ
ഏതോ പാട്ട് പാടുന്നു
ആ കുഞ്ഞുവിരലുകൾ
ആ സുഷിരങ്ങളെ
മറക്കുന്നു പോലുമില്ല
എങ്കിലുമാഗാനം
സുന്ദരമത്രെ!
സിംഹത്തെപോലെ ഗർജ്ജിക്കുക
അസ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം മരണംപോലെ
ഭയജനകം.
